These tasty Greek Yogurt Popsicles have become a staple in my house. My girls probably eat 2-4 popsicles a day which is perfectly fine because they are made from simple, healthy ingredients!
So when people raise an eyebrow at my girls begging for “lollipops” for breakfast, I reassure them that these are not your average lollipops. My kids love them so much that I usually bring a mold with us on vacation so I can make some even when we are not at home!

The yogurt popsicle ritual developed out of me trying to save leftover berries and yogurt. I would often mix fresh berries into some yogurt for the girls as a snack, but they may or may not finish the entire serving. Instead of tossing them, I started putting the leftovers into a spare ice cube tray. Frozen yogurt cubes are yummy, but messy, so I found these cute candy molds at the store and they’ve been my go-to ever since.

Why I Love This Recipe
- It’s so simple! These popsicles are made from plain greek yogurt and fresh or frozen berries. After combining you throw them in the freezer for 2 or more hours and they’re ready to go!
- Cute and kid friendly! As I mentioned my kids eat these daily. They’re pretty and yummy and fun which makes them perfect snacks. They’re also perfect for teething kiddos and babies just learning to eat and hold.
- A “guilt-free” treat! These popsicles are delicious without any added sugars or syrups. I’m shocked at the amount of added sugars and ingredients in yogurts marketed for children. You don’t need those ingredients to make something kids will love.
- Customizable! You can make these with what you have on hand! It’s a great way to use up extra fresh fruit. You can add honey for some extra sweetness or even use flavored yogurt if you have a favorite! Greek yogurt works best for popsicles because it has a low water content.

Ingredients for Greek Yogurt Popsicles
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup of your favorite fresh or frozen berries

How To Make Greek Yogurt Popsicles
Combine the plain greek yogurt with the berries. If using frozen berries mix until the berries soften slightly so they can be mashed while mixing.

Place popsicle sticks in your molds and add the yogurt mixture around them. Tap the spoon into the base of the mold to avoid air bubbles. You can also tap the mold gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

You can clean up the edges with a paper towel or spoon, but I usually don’t worry about cleaning the edges as they’re simple to break off once frozen! The overhangs don’t bother us, so my girls usually just eat them.
Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours before enjoying! If using a silicone mold, they should pop out easily!

Greek Yogurt Popsicles Tips
- Berries have water that can result in icy popsicles. To avoid this you can smash the berries and strain off the liquid before mixing with the yogurt.
- I recommend using greek yogurt for this recipe. It is creamy and freezes the best. However you can try out different flavors of greek yogurt for a fun twist!
- If you want to use strawberries or other larger fruits, I recommend chopping them finely or putting them in a food processor prior to mixing with the yogurt. If the fruits being substituted have a high water content, I recommend reducing the ratio of fruit:yogurt or straining some of the juices off to avoid an icy texture.
- I like my cute flower silicone molds for these popsicles, but you can use popsicle or other shaped shaped molds! I don’t recommend using molds that are less than 1.5 inches in diameter so you can have decent sized chunks of berries!
